Are these lighter duty axles with  pre bent beams for camber?    might be an issue when chucking it into the lathe.. 
Some awesome things have been done with spray welding.    about how deep  would have to be?  
might as well see how pricey  new spindles would be... or if they are even available as a separate part.  You may be surprised they might be cheaper than trying to fix..


Are both  spindles  butchered?   If only one, you could rob the 1 good spindle out of your original axle.   Sucks that you have to go through all this.
