Heya, I have a few questions about Prescription maps and would love your input about them -
1. What would be more preferable for a Weed control prescription map - a map divided into different levels with percentages for each section depending on weed pressure or 1/0 map with detections/no detections? (i.e., a 2 level map or a 3,4,5+ level map).
2. Same question about how would you address Nutrient Deficiencies detected in the field.
3. How easy is it to create a prescription map outside of the JD Operations Center (SMS, Agrian etc) and then upload it to your system?
Thanks!
1. It depends on how fast you want to build resistance in the weeds. Lower rates is an excellent way to do this.
2. Does the system do an excellent job of detecting deficiencies?
3. Most software packages are very easy to create RX maps once you have a good base map built. Upload depends on monitor, most can via USB, some can also via the internet. |
