Central Washington | I have not personally had one apart but looking at the parts diagram, I think they are wrong, there are no paper gaskets on the input quill, just o-rings. They should be able to drain the oil out of the rear end and remove the PTO housing and tell you if the ring gear and pinion are bad. Did they put new o-rings on the driveshaft hubs or cut one of those, there is oil tranfer from the transmission to rear end through the driveshafts. | |
