Mascoutah, Illinois | This is where I become an idiot about acres being planted. I watch year after year as acres are taken out of production around here and built up residentially and commercially. It has to be happening in other parts of the grain belt also. How do those acres get replaced other than taking them out of the CRP? Any help would be appreciated. I would think planted acres would go down each year. I am obviously not astute enough to understand this process. | |
