My friends to the north continue to tell me about the snow pack. Will this spring be just as challenging as last year? You bet it will. I am of the utmost belief we will see flooding similar to 1993. I have a token wager with a friend of mine on the number of days the Mississippi River will be above flood stage in St. Louis. (The over-under was set at 42 days. I took the over and he feels he has a sure winner.) I believe he is in for a huge suprise.
If you want some good reading material, look at all of the articles on the solar cycle. Wet, wetter, and even wetter with cool temperatures. 2010 doesn't get any easier after 2009.
