While I'm sure the air museum is neat to see, you do realize Dayton is out of your way if coming from Milwaukee around Chicago. Straight shot down thru Indy ( Indy 500 track lap around & the museum ) then I-65 down to Louisville. Louisville has the Louisville bat factory n museum in downtown. Church hill downs ( museum) located near KY Expo center too
