I read through all the responses so far, and don't see a single 1 recommending any nitrogen. "Here" we like to have a certain amount in the soil, almost somewhat as a maintenance sort of thing to help keep nitrogen requirements down for the following year. But that can depend on your soil time.

Some years after spring wheat, we won't put any P or N down. Get a soil test first.
