| Dad bought a Davis Vantage Pro2 probably15 years ago I think. The display quit last fall but their new tablet display was fully compatible with the weather station which is nice to find out. Thought I would be shopping for a complete new system but if you look on their website you can repair most anything on them including the wind speed sensor if it is broken.
Wireless from weather station to its tablet. To get the info on your phone you need to connect tablet to your WiFi and then it send info to the Davis website where you can read it. I don't use that feature, I get all the info I need off the display. The display can be configured to show many different parameters and there are graphing functions available also. Can't say how it compares to other weather stations but given this one is probably 15 years old and still in service and doing what I need then probably money well spent. | |
