Load availability surged 6% but load searching fell 2% compared to the previous week. Truckavailability dipped 3% but truck searching rose 2% compared tothe previous week. Average equipment rates surged 4% to $1.61 from $1.55 the previous week. Fuel prices dropped 2% to $2.78 per gallon from $2.83 per gallon the previous week. Sponsored By: Both inbound rates and outbound rates went up compared to the previous week. Load turnaround times were 8% worse at 178 minutes from 165minutes the previous week. Truck turnaround improved 2% to 181 minutes from 185 minutes the previous week. The ITS weekly credit score index was worse last week at 31.14 days from 31.05 days the previous week. Last week load supply continued to increase and equipment rates surged. As a result, truck demand and truck turnaround times improved. Expect the freight market to continue getting better. |
