We used 1 × 6 decking boards. Plan on putting outdoor carpet over that to prevent dripping and block some of the generator noise from below.
Never would have dreamed of outdoor carpet .... sure a possibility
the bin flooring I found is the good stuff ---meaning slick and easy to sweep think I may go another route

Plenty of old bin floor available around here that isn't slick and easy to sweep.
