You can go to the shadowstats.com site and get an idea from his text interviews what his views are. He is the guy that track the government statistics then makes adjustments, some of his own, some of what the government used to report but no longer does, and some that he figures it the way the government used to but no longer does (because it looks bad)

He is of the opinion that we are already past the point of no return and that we will end up with hyperinflation.  He does not know the exact time line but figures within 5 years and certain events that could happen this year it could be soon. He says that once a system shock starts the process it can come on in a very short time period, within a months time. He says buy gold to protect wealth.
