We can get a permit but it is a joke. You can shoot five but there is no reporting so I don’t know anyone who has ever shot the fifth one. The permit cost 100 dollars, I paid it the first year, the next year they billed me. I figured they were just looking for the money and didn’t care about the cranes.

Chuck, please tell me who I need to contact for a permit! Is this a DNR permit? I have a friend associated with the conservation congress who has said there will never be a crane hunt as long as the Kohler Foundation exists. (Kohler plumbing)
