How in heavens name cd you improve on a Duramax, which came out after thr 6.5? Been in GM pickups for 23 years and near bulletproof.
I have never heard even once that JD was going to build a JD engine for a pickup.
How could you improve on a duramax a throw away type engine designed for automotive use barely good enough for that versus any kind of an engine designed for industrial use the better engine might be heavier and the Chebby front end couldn’t handle that so you are right about that part |
