| I had cataract surgery on my left eye on January 31, 2024 and my right eye on February 13, 2024. Surgery and healing has went very well. I was very nearsighted before surgery. My distance vision needed glasses but I had excellent near vision.
I spent the extra money to get the Panoptix trifocal lens and hopefully not need glasses. Since surgery, my near vision is good to excellent and my intermediate vision is decent. Distance vision is 20/30 in my left eye and 20/25 in my right eye. I am legal to drive but my distance vision is not as crisp as I was hoping it would be. The surgeon says it will take 1-3 months before my vision settles to what it will be. I have a feeling I may need glasses to get the crisp distance vision.
Has any body gotten the Panoptix lens and what has been your experience? Thanks, Jim |
