Southwest Kansas | I think a bigger problem is the drug companies contributions to medical schools and medical text book writings/publishing. I imagine there are also contributions to the big medical hospitals/orginizations. So I guess I don’t feel like it’s so much the individual Dr. getting a kickback directly as it is the other large medical corporations getting it and then encouraging the especially young or new Dr.s to prescribe drugs rather than treat the cause. Generally fresh out of med school/internship Dr.s go to a larger medical organization until they have enough to open their own office if they wish to, many do not. | |
