Like most of you , i suspect my ears have dust in them .
What has worked as an over the counter deal that works .
Any advice on this , beside a doctor trip to clean them out .
Find a decently large syringe with a small flexible tip. I've seen some on amazon with short hoses that attach, etc. Use warm water and just blow the water into your ear. Best to do it after a warm shower. What I do is fill the bathroom sink with warm water about half full. Hold the syringe in one hand, (make sure your elbow is in the sink as water always runs down the arm), and hold the tip with the other, and just keep flushing the ear with water. That's about how they do it at a doctors office as well.
I struggle with ear wax. I remember as a kid in junior high/high school ending up in the doctor office with enough wax build up that I lost hearing in one ear. All they did was flush it out and show me how to do it myself. I had tried the candles before that, and they are just a joke. I do use some debrox as well sometimes, and should flush more than I do. It's amazing the size of chunks I get out sometimes. I won't gross anybody out with those details.
But agreed with so many others above, just flush with warm water a bunch of times. Not too much pressure, but enough to get a good flush.
The photo is of what I actually use. With a real small flexible hose on the end of the green tip that slides onto the syringe.
