| I tested the candling method once. I put one in my ear and held the other in my hand, set them both on fire. When they had burned all the way down they both had the same amount of wax in them. It’s the wax they’re made of, not wax from your ears.
My current method is an Asian ear pick. Be careful if you try one, if you jerk your hand you can pierce your eardrum. I remove the bulk of the wax with the pick and then let each ear canal soak in hydrogen peroxide for a few minutes. | |
