Google earth, use the historical imagery button to go back. Also have used Apple Maps on my phone. Storm weather app has a decent satellite image. Anything that gives a different view from different years helps. I find that google earth using the historical imagery from around 2000 works the best most of the time.

If you know where the outlet is find someone with a Maverick tile finder or similar and snake it. If looking for laterals off the main dig slightly off the main digging just past the top soil, look for the nice black ribbon of dirt as wide as the tile plow or bucket that was used to dig them in. Locating old tile is no fun, sometimes you can find them instantly other times it seems you can dig for hours. Using a tile finder helps take out some guess work once you find a run.
