Subject: RE: Shop floor drains

Southeast IN
Floor drains take some maintenance, keep in mind one hole or small trough in the middle takes about a minute to clean out, and a whole trough from end to end takes much longer when mud and rocks get smashed in it. It is not uncommon to have wheat, weeds, grass, corn growing out of floor drains in a shop not to mention the smell of some good old soybeans. I can not tell you how many times the grates have been pulled up to root through the slop to find washers, nuts, etc. My opinion less is better and buy a good squeegee.
