Just like when he was at Iowa State, huh? He had more talent there than he knew what to do with and was able to set more records than any other QB in school history because of all that talent. Hmmm.
Setting records at Iowa State is a low bar to clear. Iowa State has one of the worst D1 football programs historically. ISU is one of very few D1 schools to have never won 10 or more games in a season. I think their last conference title was in 1912. Purdy's senior season the team went 7-6.
