The main difference would be the starting fuel mechanism, there's about 3 different "mousetraps" for that. The latest will have the hydraulic aneroid activator.
Only sure way to tell if it's the right pump is by part #....
They were listed by engine SN in the parts book, but it's anybody's guess what's on it at this point.
