| Without cash involved, there are no transaction reporting requirements for banks. At quarter end a Bank's call report shows aggregate balance data on accounts over $250,000 but no individual account data is reported. At an exam, FDIC may ask questions regarding the stability of large depositors. But honestly during an exam they may ask about anything and everything anyway... funds held has no $250,000 line item on their version of a call report.
A SAR must be filed when required to comply with BSA law. But this would be under the shady category that you said you were not referring to.
That's hitting about every angle of this vague question I can think to hit.
