Big Sky Country | You bet. It’s a legume, bees and bee keepers love it. Blooms a couple weeks before alfalfa and for a long time. It likes being alone—it won’t outcompete.
But—it’ll suck deer in big time. Flourishes doused with roundup. Long lived and will reseed itself. Hollow stemmed, little bypass protein, lower leaves don’t fall off ,Ike alfalfa. Big seeds. Dry land here, pure stand, maybe 30#
It likes dry feet. Poorer the ground, closer it comes to alfalfa yield
