If you can't run a centrifugal fan build some sort of noise wall (like along interstates thru urban areas). Just block the path of the sound travel towards the neighbor to keep the peace. Any sort of hard solid wall will help tremendously. Line of site direction is all that's needed to deflect the sound travel. Sound doesn't turn corners well.
