West Central Indiana | I was on a 2 year spread program several years ago. Basically spreading ahead of corn crop and letting beans scavenge, maybe it’s just my soils but since going to a spread for every crop year system yields have consistently got better. I can’t credit everything to switching fertilizer programs because I was planting seed from a different company back then that most likely couldn’t hang with what I’ve been planting.... Anyway, I’d say if your wanting to try a flat spread on some bean acres 200# of potash and 50-75# of AMS would be a good. Beans seem to love K & S.... | |
