Subject: RE: Deere 4038R Sprayer - Breakaways

Ethridge, TN
Second question...

Top of the boom seems to be laying "out", more than I would expect. I have already replaced the bushings in the rollers, and new pins. Do I need to replace the two "links" at the top?? Good 3/4" between tube and rub pads. When we first got it, you could see where it had been "rubbing" at the main boom frame, and the back rest. That is now gapped, with what I have done so far.

Ex'coop sprayer, so is pushing close to 4K hours on the machine.
