far south central iowa | Not sure what conditions are like in Wisconsin, but we’ve had multiple fields over multiple years where we’ve never had to make a second pass after 6 oz of zidua pro in no til. We fight horrendous winter annual pressure on some fields including marestail that 2-4d won’t touch that sharpen still controls and we have crispy fields within 5 days. Probably wouldn’t label it the worst product ever.
To the original poster, not sure if you are no til or not, on our conventional tillage fields, I let the beans to get between unifoliate and first trifoliate and run enlist, gly, and 2.5 oz of zidua sc, then come back 3 weeks later with glufosinate and outlook. On 15 inch rows it’s been spotless. I know alot of people won’t like not having a pre on before the beans are up but that has worked well for us
If no til, you could run enlist, zidua, spike in your metribuzin, and maybe some pursuit. All of those should be pretty safe and not have a lot of risk of splash up. Valor is a good product but with the wrong conditions that close to planting, it can be hard on the beans
