North Central Iowa | I would have skipped the br1, but I probably couldn’t argue on the ease of use. An Incommand 1200 has WiFi built in and can connect to any hot spot. So if you have a phone plan that includes being able to use hot spot data, that should work fine.
That being said, since I also have some older Trimble systems, I use a dedicated cellular tablet on cheap simple talk plan to provide Bluetooth corrections to the Trimble systems and the WiFi hotspot for my incommand 1200.
In theory, a phone call shouldn’t interrupt the cellular data stream on your phone, but that hasn’t always been the case and didn’t want to put up the potential interruption. | |
