West Central Indiana | I’m not new to using cover crops and have done some research on the Conservation Stewardship Program(CSP) that was offered to me. Just wondering what others think of the program that have been through a 5 year contract?? To my understanding I’ll need to submit an application on which cover crop system I will be using and NRCS will evaluate and rank my application against other eligible applicants.
I don’t mind working with my NRCS guy on planning what to use on certain fields but I wouldn’t go for them forcing me to use certain cover crop practices that I didn’t believe would benefit my bottom line. | |
