Cherokee iowa | Agree. Looks like a very good level on historical prices. Got a USDA cattle on feed to fill out on the desk for the February report. I better start counting. Make sure paper and product match. It was a hard three weeks of cold followed by three weeks of 32 degree fog and mud. I’m thanking the great king for sunlight. I’d cuss the sun when it was 114 degrees last summer. It’s a funny world. I see It could go two ways eventually. First with the strong dollar packers could flood the US market with imports. Margin is money and money talks. Short term fill driving front month and cash down somewhat. nothing to change dynamics besides more heifers being ate. No herd expansion would take place. I’m my opinion. Keeping prices steady. I’m waiting on more red before I Texas hedge my fat cattle. My position is open on the hoof. With election year it would be fun to see what the cattle markets do. Like mr grain did with the grain.
