Redwood Falls, MN | They guy I bought the first Magnums from ran dry and NH3 with no problems he said. I tried it through the knife like it's designed and it kept plugging up at the bottom with our sticky, black soil, even at 150#. I modified them before we even tried to go with full rates. On the 10,000 units, I bought 2 of the Yetter Dry tubes to see if that would solve my issue but the problem with those was that it applied it right behind the knife and it wasn't placed at the bottom like I wanted, so I used the tubes and modified like in the picture. I can imagine fertilizer quality, weather conditions and soil types play a role in how it all works too. | |
