I did one once and trying to get battery loose I end up with smoke coming from the battery trying to get glue to release old battery. It was an iphone but don’t recall model. I was watching a youtube how to do it. I did get battery changed but next one I will take to a local shop that does it daily. They don’t charge much more then you can buy a battery for.
