The biggest demand for soybeans is N peaking after nodules start dying off. The highest daily demand of a nutrient is K. If you can stop the plant from gong deficient during maximum uptake yield will surely follow.

I've never seen anyone y drop beans but in Nebraska we fertigate N and K on occasion.
