NW KS | sharpen will HELP with pigweed, but its not a lot. 2 oz rate has shown to have a little residual. but we arnt talking long. I work for nutrien as well, and I tell my customers its about layers of protection. if you can get more modes of action out there, they will all help the others last longer and work better.
cocklbur and velvet leaf? nah. not much works there. large seeded broadleaves are a pita to kill with a residual herbicide. but luckily they are fairly easy to post spray.
watch your sharpen rate. 3+ has a pretty long plant back period. around here 2 is 0 days to sorghum and corn, but 3 is something like 2 weeks or a month, dont quote me. | |
