Earlton Ontario | Talking with a major grain trading house in Southern Ontario. Usually does big export business to india with dry peas. I asked what they were bidding and he countered and asked how much I could buy. They ended up missing their major sales and are dumping them into the local feed trade for $.08-$.10 per pound........ouch!!!
He mentioned lots of talk in the prairies of guys growing considerably less wheat and cereals and more pulses......like peas and lentils.
