NW North Dakota | Well, I have my planting intentions pretty much set, and out of my total acres, Durum Wheat has been cut by 30% due to the less than rosy outlook, I'm ONLY seeding any of it because I need a grain in my pulse rotation.........half my bins are full yet of last years Durum.....might put up some more grain bins.... not going to give it away! The "Market" is going to shoot itself in the foot regarding Durum again........it was over $20.00 per bushel 2 years ago and right now its $4.00 a bushel! Now, I realize $20 was too high for actual value, but you can't tell me durums actual "worth" is $4.00......give me a break, It should never be below $6.00 for any reason....what a joke..... Barleys no good either,nor Spr Wheat, hrw wheat is profitless too........ | |
