Subject: RE: brush cutter for mini excavator

London, Ontario, Canada
I have owned 2 Brush Wolf rotary brush cutters. First was a 4800x and basically was bullet proof. Broke the odd shear bolt and sharpen blades or replace. Easily cut soft wood up to 7" and hardwoods to 4"

When my new excavator had higher flow I bought their newer 4800 HD model. Direct drive with faster recovery times. Will handle 5-6" hardwood. New one needs a case drain where the older model doesn't. They are heavy and well built so rest is up to you.

Often have thought the 42" might have been better to fit in between trees to cut brush. I try to cut garbage brush so larger trees don't have to compete with them. For trees and limbs 42" is fine. New model has removal skirts to cut close.

Actually got an email recently that they are currently 10 percent off if that helps.
