Wyoming | The zoom is alright, at least miles better than the Mini 2. Never touched the zoom on the 2 for cinematic reasons, but would occasionally when inspecting pivots, checking water, etc. However, the controller for the Mini 4 has a dial for zoom, which can allow for some cool shots, and it's good enough quality I'll use it every now and then.

That's the video I did most recently with the Mini 4 and you can see a quality difference in the zoomed shots, but it really isn't bad. It will be hard to tell the difference because Youtube won't play the video in 4k. If you really want great zoom the DJI Air 2s is probably the best for the money out of the DJI drones, but it's pricey and I haven't personally tried it. But there is a lot of great reviews on Youtube.
Pretty much depends on your budget and what you need.
