I have a mini 3 pro, had a Mavic Air 2S for about 6 months, and I fly a Mavic 3 and a Phantom 4 Pro + at work. I really can't tell a lot of difference between the Mavic 3, Air 2S or mini 3 pro, they can all be finicky sometimes in different lighting conditions. I think they're all better than the Phantom 4 Pro, but the Phantom wasn't really that bad at it either, but I never tested it in extreme conditions like I have with the Air 2S and mini 3 pro. By extreme conditions, I mean activating Active track and then riding an ATV down a trail with lots of overhanging branches, I've done it walking too with really low overhanging branches. For the most part, I find it amazingly good, but sometimes it get's stuck and just hovers there until I come get it out of the mess. I had good enough experiences with DJI, that I won't look at anything else. Good luck!
