NEND | I am working with an accountant to send me an Excel file exported out of QuickBooks. I do this with Quicken. I bring up a transaction report, go into the report settings, check the "Show Splits" option, and export it to an Excel file. Works great, the splits are listed on a separate line so I can do reports summarized by category in Excel. The accountant I'm working with sent me a file and everything is good, except the splits are not shown (it just shows the transaction all on one line). I know the accountant has better things to do than figure out how to do this. I imagine it's possible. I'm hoping someone can explain in detail how to show splits in a transaction report. |
