My vote is for Massey/Hesston. I had a 1372 and now a 1383. Steel on steel rolls dry hay quicker than rubber. I've never had to work on the cutter bar of either one.
How have the roller bearing treated you on the 1383? We have a 1372 and like the machine, love the cutter bar, but roller bearings have been an issue. We’re looking to upgrade, but do not want to get into another Massey if the bearings are problematic. |
