I have been thinking the same thing for a while but who knows. As US and global interest turns elsewhere that can’t be helpful to Taiwan.

I would think Taiwan could put up a much better fight than Ukraine so the cost to invade looks quite high, and the ability of Taiwan’s allies to inflict harm, or even if not an ally just an unfriendly neighbor to China, could inflict a lot of harm on China while they were busy bombing Taiwan.

It all seems so unnecessary …
