N FLA | Brother in law bought a 5 year old home in Vero Beach. 3 br 2 bath 1 car garage foreclosure for 50k. Its in a good area, was in good shape. He had no money down, got the govt tax credit on top of that. Youd be surprised.......Whats payments on that $500 month with taxes and insurance? He lives in it, but it would rent for about $850 per month. I have three rentals in Port St. Lucie Florida, I dont think I could get 80,000 for them. They rent for 900-1000. Would cash flow for me if i didnt buy them at 140k. Youre right, there is no owners equity to be found. | |
