Hillsboro Ohio | I have heard one economic forecaster after another talk about the housing boom,i don't believe people should have built mansions they couldn't possibly afford.But My question is what would of happened say 8-10 years ago if people didn't buy or build hardly anything all of those people who are in the construction industry wouldn't of had jobs.It takes lots of raw materials to build houses,there would have went the lumber industry.What if people wouldn't have maxed out there credit cards just do without. all of the goods and services that were produced as a result I have no idea how many jobs that would have lost hundreds of thousands probably millions.My point is this recession was coming sooner or later ,it probably wouldn't have been as bad had we took it 10 years ago instead of keeping the interest rate low,where people borrowed $200,000 where if interest was higher they probably would have borrowed $150,000 or just make do with what they had. Just my oppinions lets hear yours. | |
