| To use an IRA to invest in property you need to keep an arms length interest on a personal level. The underlying premise for any real estate investment purchased with IRA funds is that you can’t have any personal use or benefit of the property. That includes buying it through and IRA and then leasing it to your business, such as an office. To do so may cost you plenty in taxes and penalties. Buying real estate through an IRA is for pure investment purposes. I'm not sure you can even pay yourself a management fee for it?
Get some better advise than from me, but that is what I have found.
