Missouri | replace the suction hose take the nozzle apart ( there are small parts in it ) clean with carb cleaner reassemble put a gauge and hose on the test port of the compressor adjust to 60 psi if it will light and run with the top off and goes out when you put top back on the spark plug or transformer is likely the problem put new clean fuel in it make sure the oring is good on the nozzle make sure the tank is clean it dose not take much crap to partially plug the center bore of the nozzle your standing on end comment sounds like a siphon problem
