E ND | I would beef up anything you bought from TSC, I don't think they build anything under that CountyLine brand that I would trust pulling, turning and stopping a 25K lb trailer.
Your old spear looks like much heavier tube, definitely larger dimensional tube.
I've sold two of these Gen-Y Hitches to a customer to pull similar trailers behind 250+ HP tractors that worked well, but they're built for that vs. a modified bale spear. These are good for 21k.
