4 BTU = 1 calorie (food label calorie) so 100 pounds of water at 32F would take 4,000BTU or 1,000 calories to reach 72F, that's the calorie equivalent of about 1 quart of milk. Not taking into account if the cold water would shock the stomach activity, or any other biological factors, heat content only.
