Central NC | I closed up our wide fireplace about 1979, this a Fisher “mama bear”, only moved it one time to clean out chimney. A wood stove with double doors that accepts wood similar to fireplace will smoke if you jerk the doors open quickly, this is the medium size that was sold here in Southeast from about 1975 to 1980
