| I watched several of these last night. I get MAD ALL OVER AGAIN. Worse, there is a story floating on a couple of blogs that Sen. Dodd is interviewing for a bank job after retirement. If this is the case & he sits in on the decision on this Volcker deal...it is a flat out conflict of interest. Given a chance, Volcker can clean some of these things up...he knows the people...the good guys and the not-so-good. Far too many citizens assume once a fellow/woman reaches the CEO level they possess some sense of ethic....this is not necessarily the case.
If this Sen. Dodd story is correct, if any of us serving on a board were also making deals on the side...we would face potential lawsuits and possibly even criminal actions. Some of these fellows have become blatant...its grab, grab & grab and too many could care less if their children live in the usa or china....$$$ buy privilege in most locations.
